Aske released a demo tape back in 2011, and one of several things it illustrated was how amazing screamo can sound when yelled or screamed in Norwegian. The two song recording found the band flirting with both mid-90s screamo and the sound some people refer to as euro-screamo.
This is Aske's debut 7", and it shows how extremely focused the band has become since their first effort. Creating gorgeous melodies with equal amounts twinkly beautiful emocore as chaotic and desperate hardcore, Aske will definitely make you think of bands like Raein and La Quiete.
